Abstatt ist die am dichtesten bebaute Gemeinde im weiten Umkreis und trotzdem soll „Flächenfraß für Industrie- und Wohnbau um jeden Preis“ betrieben werden!? Abstatter Bürger bezahlen für das geplante Gewerbegebiet fast 500.000 Euro für ökologische Aufwertungen in anderen Gemeinden. Der Zukauf dieser Ökopunkte ist notwendig, weil Abstatt über keine ausreichenden Potentiale in Natur und Umwelt mehr verfügt – dies sollte sehr zu Denken geben. Es werden landwirtschaftliche Flächen zerstört und ortsansässigen Landwirten weitere Flächen entzogen. Und NEIN: Wichtige Abwägungen sind weder überholt noch ausreichend berücksichtigt. 2 Beispiele: Landwirten kann keine vergleichbare Ausgleichsfläche angeboten werden und die Bedenken vom LNV/NABU zur ausgedehnten Flächenversiegelung in Abstatt werden ignoriert. Einsprüche der Bürger sind weiterhin möglich, um umweltbewusster Entwicklung Platz zu machen.
